These pictures tell a story and I hope this can motivate those that have survived cancer or any serious illness! Many will often just see the glamorous side of a fitness photo shoot – but the truth is I didn’t look like this when I was laying in a hospital bed dying! I have survived two life threatening illnesses and the first illness remained an unsolved mystery for a long time until I convinced my doctors to look into a rare bleeding disorder! I was later diagnosed with WVD (Von Willebrands disease) type 1.
