PISTACIA VERA (Chocolate Torte) Columbus, Ohio
The goal of this post is to celebrate more birthdays. Lets celebrate as many birthdays as possible, not just our own, but those valuable B -Days that belong to those that have suffered from cancer and other devastating illnesses.

This is a chocolate torte which is a chocolate flourless cake from Pistacia Vera in Columbus, Ohio. Pistacia Vera is an upscale style bakery that is one of the finest that I have ever been to. My mother and I often had desert here when I had moved to Ohio! This was one of our many favorite places and it had special meaning because I had started a new chapter in my life when I moved to Cincinnati for a career opportunity! I was later diagnosed with breast cancer eighteen months later and had to move back home for treatment. Always reward yourself when you can!
